If you’ve never seen Aloha Friday then here is the run down from Island Life….
In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought on Fridays I would take it easy on posting too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

When did/do your kids (or school district) go back to school?
Our kids actually don’t go back until the day after Labor Day.. so Sept 8th.

It’s the exact same for us, September 8th. It’s the law in our state that public schools can’t start until after Labor Day.
My two younger school-aged kids went back in July sometime. The elementary schools go year-round in our district.
My oldest started 10th grade a few weeks ago.
Mine went back on August 19th.
Around 20th of September.
Kids here went back this Monday or Thursday, depending on their school.
We started back last Monday.
Last Monday was the first day of school. I sure hope the traffic dies down this week.
