Tis the time of year when students go back to school and the paperwork comes home letting us know that school pictures are coming up. I knew Kevin was going to be getting his picture taken since he is in Kindergarten, but I never thought about Katie having school pictures done this year too, so when I got the notice about that my first thought was there goes another $27!

Then the big decision came.. since I’m going to be paying for two packages, which one should we go with. Do we try and scale down so I thought maybe I could get us an 8×10, the grandparents a 5×7 and then a year book for both of them. The funny thing is if I did it would actually cost us $2 MORE than if we went with their most popular package which had the 8×10, 2 5×7′s, 4 3×5′s and 20 wallets, plus the yearbook! So needless to say we just went with their popular package instead.

Thankfully we didn’t have to pay extra to have them fix any blemishes, but I’m sure some year we might consider it. Lets see, what would we rather do? Pay to have acne treatments done? Or just have them fix the blemishes in the pictures? Somehow paying the extra to have them fix the blemishes sounds cheaper.
