If you had the time, what area of your home would you re-organize?

What a fun question for me since that’s what I’ve been trying to do the last couple weeks.   A couple weeks ago we found another house that we liked and was debating if we really wanted to move or not.  Since it was leaning towards yes I looked around and saw my house in a different light.  If we were going to move, would I want to take all this stuff with us?  How would our house sell with all this stuff in it?  So I started decluttering and keeping on top of everything a little better.    The area I already worked on, but I think I would need to do it again would be the kids area.  I thought I did pretty good at it already, but I swear their toys are like rabbits and can multiply over night!

Oh… we did decide that right now isn’t the perfect time for us to move.  Instead we will just keep saving up so when the time does come we will have at least our full 20% down payment (if not more) to put down on it.

Will you or your family be getting the swine flu vaccination?

No one in our household will be getting the vaccination as in my eyes they didn’t do enough research on it along with the last time they had the swine flu outbreak more people died from the vaccination than from the flu itself.

What is your favorite thing about the fall?

For me it would have to be the leaves changing color.  There’s nothing better then driving my car on a nice warm, sunny day and looking out seeing the red, orange, yellow leaves.

Our kids actually don’t go back until the day after Labor Day.. so Sept 8th.

What book are you currently reading?

This afternoon I just got done reading Left Behind by Tim LaHaye and I highly recommend it!  I’m not much of a book reader, but after reading the first couple pages I was sucked into it.

 Today I did to go the library and got book 2 of the series so I’ll be starting on Tribulation Force tonight!

What’s been your favorite thing you’ve done this summer?

For me it would have to be us taking the boat up to Ludington State Park and going tubing, beaching the boat and enjoying our own private beach!!

Do you have a landline phone at home? If so, do you have any features on it like call waiting & caller ID? Or is it a basic plain jane phone?

We do have a landline phone, but it doesn’t have any bells & whistles like caller ID or call waiting! I do have to say there are times I wish we did have caller ID because I hate it when people call to only hang up once you answer the phone. At least then I would of known who it was.

Now on to my question of the week:

We had a guy here in west michigan who ended up doing a hit a run (Hit a person walking) and killed her. He ended up quick going home and talked his wife into going back and saying she was the one who did it and she did! The truth did end up coming and now they are both going on trial and are looking at jail. So here’s my question…. would you ever lie or take the fall for someone else?

I love Paul to death, but if he did something stupid like that there is NO WAY I would ever take the fall for him. He’s the one who screwed up and he needs to take responsibility for it. Now I have done the lying bit for him before when his work had called to force him into work and he didn’t want to go.. I would say he wasn’t here or if someone calls that I know he doesn’t want to talk to I will say he’s not home, but I think that’s been the worse me covering for him.

Now that it’s summer vacation for the kids, do you have anything fun planned for this summer?

We are hoping to take the kids out fishing more this year, plus maybe take them camping for the first time!
